I first met Sheldon when he gave a lecture on the advantages of weight training in enhancing bone strength in older persons and decided as someone in my seventies to work with him, and have been doing so for several years.
What I appreciate about Sheldon is his attention to detail and the fact that he tailors workouts that take into account structural issues that I have, such as a weak shoulder, and gradually increases strength exercises in a way that avoids injuries.
I find I am as strong or stronger than I was twenty years ago and my posture and over-all strength have greatly improved.
I used to think that as a former jogger I had very strong legs but Sheldon has in fact increased my lower body strength in a more all round fashion.
He is now training my grandson and teaching him correct techniques so he can go to the gym to lift weights on his own and not hurt himself.
I would highly recommend Sheldon as a trainer if you are interested in enhancing your over all fitness at any age, learning correct techniques for lifting in your daily life, but especially as an older person interested in retaining and increasing bodily strength as you age.
